Immigration Enforcement Advisory (AB 699) – California

California Assembly Bill No. 699 (2017) required the Attorney General of California to prepare model policies “…ensuring that public schools remain safe and accessible to all California residents regardless of immigration status” and directs local education agencies such as Summit Public Schools to share these policies. In accordance with Assembly Bill No. 699 (2017), Summit Public Schools shares this guidance to assist members of the Summit community in responding to matters related to immigration and immigration enforcement.
