Bell Schedule Class Descriptions

Mentor SDL

As all students work on self-directed work to master content for their courses, teachers check in with students one to one regarding academic goals and social/emotional learning.

Community Time

Teachers facilitate experiences for students to build relationships, check in about social/emotional learning, and complete the College Readiness program.

Project Time

A virtual project time block employs a student-centered, project-based approach to learning to develop the cognitive skills and habits of every student. During this time, students set daily goals related to cognitive skill development, self-direct through a variety of learning experiences, and reflect on whether or not they met their goal; students receive instruction and feedback from a teacher.

Habits and Content Development

Habits and Content Development is a block of time at the end of each day which offers students an opportunity to practice and develop key habits that will allow them to study for, learn, and master content for their project blocks.
