The Summit Atlas Difference

A Small and Diverse School Community

Our small school fosters students’ sense of belonging and allows them to build lasting connections with their teachers and peers. Students and teachers in our diverse community welcome, respect, and encourage one another.

A Small and Diverse School Community

College-Prep for All

All of our students have the opportunity to earn college credit in high school through rigorous Advanced Placement courses. 98 percent of our high school graduates earn acceptance to a four-year college.

Self-Directed Learning

Our school projects allow for flexible pacing as students progress through our challenging college-prep curriculum. Teachers support and coach students as they solve problems, discover their learning styles, and demonstrate their knowledge.

Self-Directed Learning

Teachers as Mentors

Every student has a dedicated teacher mentor who guides and advises them and their family through their school experience. Students are part of the same mentoring group through graduation where they set goals, share successes and struggles, and build lasting relationships.

Real-World Experiences

Students develop skills and knowledge aligned with their passions and interests through a program called Expeditions. Students are exposed to job shadowing and take specially-designed electives in music, science, the arts, and more.

Real-World Experiences

“Summit Atlas has been pivotal for my child because it has provided social and emotional support through its mentorship model. Further, she has blossomed academically due to their commitment to individualizing the learning experience —allowing her to work ahead at the pace she needs.”
