A Little History About Summit Sierra

After spending over a year getting to know the community Sierra’s founding principal and faculty opened the school in the fall of 2015 in the International District of South Seattle. Summit Sierra opened with a founding class of 9th graders and will grow to serve grades 9-12 by the 2018-2019 school year. Summit Sierra is committed to serving a diverse group of students and families in South Seattle, with a particular focus on the Southwest and Southeast communities, helping to close the significant demographic achievement gap. While only in its first year, 100% of Summit Sierra’s parents would recommend the school to friends & family!
