In addition to our summitps.org website, and the resources mentioned on the Applications Instructions page, you can browse the materials below:

When is the right time to apply?

We accept applications on a rolling basis, and encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.  To view open positions and to apply, please click here to be directed to our online career center and application.  If there are no positions in your desired subject area or school site, we suggest you check back again regularly as we will be updating positions throughout the academic year.

Will I have the opportunity to indicate which school I prefer?

On our application, you will have the option to indicate your preference for any of our nine campus locations in the Bay Area - to learn more about our campuses, you can find more information on our California schools page.   If you advance to our final interview, we will do our best to prioritize your school preference.

To learn more about three campus locations in Washington, you can find more information on our Washington schools page.  If you advance to our final interview, we will do our best to prioritize your school preference.

How long will the interview process take?

The hiring process typically takes 3-4 weeks from when you apply and includes 2-3 rounds of interviews.

How long will it take to apply to Summit?

In advance of your application (and specifically your video short-answer interview) we recommend you dedicate time to  research Summit and our model - you can find our recommended research on our Application Instructions page.  Our teaching application includes two submissions: 1) resume and application submission (15-20 minutes) and 2) completion of video short-answer interview (10-15 minutes).

If you advance past the application stage, we will reach out to your references before the Final Round Interview.
